Home care allows for continued medical treatment in a comfortable, familiar environment — your own home. It keeps families together while helping them adjust to a new lifestyle, and it maintains a sense of dignity for the patient. Our home care representatives are dedicated to meeting your health care needs.
Medicare Part A covers the cost of necessary home health care. Medicaid covers home health, hospice, and personal assistance/community care services. Most health insurance policies and HMOs now cover skilled home health care and hospice, and workers’ compensation and the Veterans Administration cover home health services as well. These payers typically require that services be delivered by a licensed and regulated home care agency, such as Eminent Home Healthcare.
Even without one of these payer sources, many people choose to pay for home care out of pocket because they’d rather stay at home. Working with a licensed, reputable, experienced agency like Eminent means your family can have peace of mind that you’ve made the right decision either way.

Medicare runs a site where you can compare local agencies — in the DFW metroplex alone there are thousands to choose from, and it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. Medicare’s Care Compare lets you check an agency’s patient satisfaction ratings against others nearby, based on real patient survey data.
Ratings on Care Compare are recalculated quarterly, so we point families to the live site rather than quoting a fixed number here. We’re confident in how we compare — see for yourself, and call us with any questions about what you find.
